افتتح الرئيس الفرنسي "نيكولا ساركوزي" مناقشات البرلمان الفرنسي حول الهجرة، بمطالبة المسلمين بممارسة الشعائر الدينية في الخفاء؛ حتى لا يتعرضوا للإقصاء على أيدي بعض عناصر المجتمع الفرنسي.

وقد أشار "ساركوزي" في مقال له - نُشر بجريدة "لوموند" الفرنسية - إلى أهمية آثار الاستفتاء السويسري لحفاظ "فرنسا" على هويتها، مؤكدًا أنه يجب علينا بدلاً من استنكار قرار منع المآذن أن نستشعر الذي يريد الكثير من الأوروبيين أن يعبروا عنه ومن بينهم الفرنسيون.

وبالرغم من مزاعم "ساركوزي" احترام جميع الأديان، إلى أن رسالته احتوت بث الطمأنينة في قلوب الفرنسيين تجاه قلقهم من التواجد الإسلامي بـ"فرنسا".

وأكد "ساركوزي" على أن أي شيء يمثل تحديًا لميراث "فرنسا" النصراني وقيم الجمهورية، فإن مآله إلى الفشل والزوال.

وقد أشارت بعض الاستفتاءات إلى أن 64% من الفرنسيين يشعرون بالقلق من المسلمين بـ"فرنسا"، كما أن 46% يؤيدون منع بناء المآذن، و40% يؤيدون حظر بناء المساجد.

Nicolas Sarkozy: Muslims must be discreet about faith

Nicolas Sarkozy stoked the debate over immigration today with a warning to Muslims to practise their religion discreetly or face rejection by moderate Islam in France.

The President voiced sympathy for Swiss voters who opted last week to ban minarets as he tried to reassert himself in a debate over national identity which he launched last month but that has since spiralled out of his control.

Over the past week, Mr Sarkozy had appeared to retreat from his original comments following a backlash over the way that they were being used against immigrants, particularly Muslims.

But in a column for Le Monde, Mr Sarkozy returned to his theme and said that the result of the Swiss referendum showed how important it was for France to define its identity.

"Instead of condemning the Swiss out of hand, we should try to understand what they meant to express and what so many people in Europe feel, including people in France," he wrote. "Nothing would be worse than denial".

Mr Sarkozy called for tolerance and underlined France's respect for all faiths, but his message was intended primarily to reassure those who are unhappy about what they see as a threatening Muslim presence in the country.

"Christians, Jews, Muslims, all believers regardless of their faith, must refrain from ostentation and provocation and ... practice their religion in humble discretion," Mr Sarkozy wrote.

Addressing himself to Muslims, he wrote that anything that could appear as a challenge to France's Christian heritage and republican values would "doom to failure" a moderate Islam in France.

In taking this line, Mr Sarkozy implicitly rejected attacks from the Left, the intellectual world and some senior figures in his own Gaullist camp over what they see as a ploy that stigmatises immigrants.

Dominique de Villepin, one of three Gaullist former prime ministers to disapprove, said today that Mr Sarkozy's debate was "rushed and brutal". Jean-Pierre Raffarin, another former premier, said that Mr Sarkozy had launched a "pub-style debate".

Mr Sarkozy's target audience is the broad swathe of conservative and rightwing voters who backed him heavily for the presidency in 2007 . He argues that defending national identity is a noble cause, opposed only by the elite. This populist line is expected to benefit his
party in national and local elections in March.

Mr Sarkozy enjoys majority public support with his opposition to Muslim women covering their faces in public. Parliament is reviewing ways of countering the practice and may propose an outright ban next month.

Opinion polls show rising unease over the population of 6 million Muslims. A survey last week found that 46 per cent favoured banning minarets, with 40 per cent against. More than 40 per cent opposed building any mosques, compared with only 19 per cent in favour.

تم منع التلميذات المسلمات في قرية "باطراك" بمنطقة "كامينسكي" بإقليم "بينزا" الروسي من ارتداء الحجاب.

وقد صرحت والدة الطالبة "جوليا ميلجيزنا" أن ابنتها تدرس في المدرسة الثانوية بقرية "باطراك"، وقامت المدرسة بفصلها اعترضًا على ذهابها إلى مدرستها في الزى الإسلامي.

وتحكي والدة "جوليا" أن مدير المدرسة قد أجبر ابنتها على خلع الحجاب.

أشار "نور الله أختيامف" إمام وخطيب بمدينة "كامينسكي" أن هذا عمل غير قانوني، وأن هذا ليس أول اعتراض بشان ارتداء الحجاب في إقليم "بينزا"، ففي بداية العام الدراسي بالمدرسة الثانوية في قرية "موتشايلايكا" بإقليم "كامينسكي" مُنعت الفتيات من دخول الفصل بالحجاب.

وأشار أنه في حالة إذا لم يتم وضع حل لذلك الاضطهاد، فسوف يتوجه المسلمون إلى السلطات العليا للدفاع عن حقوقهم، وفقًا لتشريع "روسيا" الفيدرالية.

قام ممثلو متجر "موريسون" بـ"هالي فاكس" في "بريطانيا" بتقديم اعتذارهم لإحدى المسنات المسلمات عقب مطالبة أمن المتجر المرأة البالغة من العمر الخامسة والستين بخلع حجابها ليسمح لها بدخول المتجر.

وقد أشارت المرأة إلى أن هذا الأمر قد تسبب لها في حرج شديد وإهانة وألجأها إلى البكاء، مما دفع مسؤولي المتجر إلى التقدم بالاعتذار، والإشارة إلى أن المتجر يقر التعددية الثقافية وليس من سياسته أن يطالب زبائنه بخلع ملابسهم الدالة على اعتقادهم الديني.

وطالبت إدارة المتجر الحرس وموظفي الأمن بالالتزام بسياسة المتجر تجاه عملائها، كما طالبت المرأة بألا يتكرر هذا الموقف مرة أخرى خصوصًا مع المسلمات مرتديات الحجاب.

Supermarket says sorry in hijab row

A Supermarket has apologised after a pensioner was told to remove her hijab.

A security guard at the new Morrisons store at Illingworth, Halifax, told the 65 -year-old Muslim she couldn't go inside unless she took off the headwear, which covers the hair for religious reasons. The woman said she was left "humiliated and embarrassed" but gave in because she felt intimidated. She said she was so ashamed she didn't tell anyone for weeks until her son asked her to go back to the store with him. A spokesman for the store said: "Morrisons embraces cultural diversity in its customers and its colleagues.

"It is absolutely not our policy to ask any customer to remove headwear, including garments worn for religious reasons.

"We apologise that she was asked to do so. This should not have happened.

"The security guard works for a third-party company.

"We have spoken to them to reiterate our policy that we do not ask anyone to remove headwear when entering a store".

The store manager has apologised to the family, who come from Illingworth.

The woman does not want to be named.

Her 23 -year-old son, who also asked to remain anonymous, said he was furious at the way his mother had been treated .

He said: "She was in tears. I was completely gobsmacked.

"A lot of Asian ladies wear headscarves. It's a respect thing. If you asked them to take them off they would be totally embarrassed.

"But she thought if she didn't do as he said it would look dodgy or she would be told to get out. Now she is scared to go back".

He said when he went to the store to complain, the blunder was put down to a no-hoodies policy.

"I'm sure they know the difference between a headscarf and a hoodie," he said. "I just hope it doesn't happen to anybody else

أعلن السياسي السويسري "كريستوفر دارلبلاي" رئيس الحزب الديمقراطي عن توضيحه لتصريح له طالب فيه بمنع تخصيص المسلمين بمقابر خاصة، وأشار إلى أنه قصد بحديثه بيان أنه من الصعب أن تُخصَّص كل ملة بمقابر خاصة في كل بلدة، وأنه لا يجب التفرقة بين السويسريين على أسس الأصول والأديان.

ويأتي هذا الاعتذار عن هذه النقطة من الخطاب الذي تضمن المطالبة بمنع المنتقبات من شوارع "سويسرا"، ويأتي هذا في أعقاب ما شهدته "سويسرا" من منع لبناء المآذن بُناءً على الاستفتاء الشعبي الذي عُقد في التاسع والعشرين من نوفمبر الحالي.

وقد شهدت "سويسرا" منذ فترة منع عمليات التذكية الشرعية بناءً على أن الحيوانات لا يتم تخديرها قبل ذبحها فتم منع الذبح الشرعي أسوة بدول أوروبية أخرى، التي تجبر مسلميها على استيراد اللحوم المذكاة من الدول المجاورة.

Swiss Pol Apologizes For Calling For Ban On Muslim And Jewish Cemeteries

A Swiss politician has apologized today for calling for a ban on Jewish and Muslim cemeteries two days after the country voted to outlaw minarets on mosques.

"I am sorry. I didn't mean it like that," said Christopher Darbellay, president of the Christian Democratic People's Party of Switzerland, a centrist party and the smallest member of the government coalition .

"It was about the principle that we all belong to the same Swiss society", he added.

In his call for the ban, Darbellay said, "I don't imagine that in this country, every religion or sect can have a separate cemetery in every town. It wouldn't be manageable to make these exceptions. ... Principle requires that one does not distinguish on the basis of origin or religion".

Darbellay has also called for a ban on burkas or veils worn by some Muslim women.

Switzerland made international headlines Sunday when residents voted to add a line to their constitution banning the construction of minarets, or prayer towers, on mosques. The initiative, backed by the right-wing Swiss People's Party, passed by more than 57 percent of voters.

"The minute you have minarets in Europe it means Islam will have taken over," said one SPP politician.

The Swiss have a long history of trying to keep their culture free from the influence of both Muslim and Jewish immigrants.

In 1893 , Switzerland banned the practice of shechitah, the kosher way of slaughtering animals, citing cruelty because the animals are not stunned first. Although the government opposed the measure, a group called the Anti-Semite Committee gathered more than 83,000 signatures to bring it to a referendum.

Even now, Jews and Muslims must import their kosher and halal meat from neighboring countries. In recent years, some groups have gone farther, trying to ban even its import. In 2003 , for example, the Swiss Animal Protection group began a campaign to ban its import, but failed.

Six other European countries join Switzerland in banning the practice: Sweden, Norway, Finland, Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania. The European Union recognized such slaughter earlier this year and declared kosher and halal meat can be sold in every country, but did not go so far as to legalize the slaughtering practice throughout the EU.

Much of the xenophobia in Switzerland seems rooted in the belief that immigrants will not assimilliate into Swiss culture. In 2006 , the citizenship application of a Turkish woman and religious teacher was rejected because she didn't want to integrate into society.

Muslims are one of the fastest-growing groups in Europe, sparking culture clashes throughout the continent. In France, for example, President Nicolas Sarkozy wants to ban the burka on the grounds that such veils oppress women.

تبين من استطلاع أجراه مكتب التخطيط الاجتماعي والثقافي في "هولندا" أن أبناء الجيل الثاني من المسلمين المغاربة في "هولندا" يرتادون المساجد أكثر من أبناء الجيل الأول.

وأن 63 % من أبناء الجيل الأول كانوا يرتادون المساجد غالبًا أو أحيانًا، بينما كانت النسبة في عام 1998 حوالي 72 %.

أما نسبة أبناء الجيل الثاني من مرتادي المساجد في عام 1998 كانت 46 % وارتفعت النسبة الآن إلى 66 %.

وقد لاحظ المكتب أن هذه الأرقام تشير إلى الإحياء الديني بالنسبة للجيل الثاني، وأن الناس يذهبون إلى الكنائس والمساجد عندما يكبر بهم السن على ما يبدو.

كما يرى المكتب أن الأجانب يندمجون بشكل أفضل من السابق، ولكن ما يزال هناك فرق كبير بين الأحياء التي يسكنها الأجانب من جهة والأحياء الهولندية من جهة أخرى، وأن الأجانب مازال لديهم تأخر في التعليم، وأن نسبة الجريمة عندهم عالية.

قام رجل أعمال سويسري ببناء مئذنة فوق مؤسسته احتجاجًا على حظر المآذن الذي صوت عليه الشعب السويسري في الاستفتاء، ويقول "جولاويم موراند" معربًا عن رأيه حول الاستفتاء: "إنه عار وشيء محزن لـ"سويسرا".

رجل الأعمال السويسري ليس مسلمًا، وهو مالك لعدة محال لتجارية الأحذية، قال: إنه بنى هذه المنارة الخاصة تعبيرًا عن رفضه للاستفتاء، وكذلك لإرسال رسالة سلام إلى المسلمين.

وكان أكثر من 57% من السويسريين قد صوتوا على منع بناء المآذن في "سويسرا"، في الاستفتاء الذي أجري في 29/11/2009م، في حين يوجد أكثر من 160 جامعًا تقام فيها الصلاة في "سويسرا".

Zvicerani ndërton një minare

Një biznesmen zviceran i tmerruar nga ndalesa për ndërtimin e minareve ka ndërtuar një minare në ndërtesën e tij për ta protestuar ndalesën.

"Ishte një gjë skandaloze për Zvicrën," thotë Guillaume Morand, duke folur në lidhje me referendumin për minaret.

"Kjo është turp".
Biznesmeni i cili nuk është musliman dhe i cili është pronar i disa shitoreve të këpucëve, tha se ai e ndërtoi këtë minare private si protestë ndaj referendumit dhe për të dërguar mesazh paqeje.

Më shumë se 57% të zviceranëve votuan për ndalimin e ndërtimit të minareve në referendumin e 29 Nëntorit në Zvicër.

Janë më se 160 xhami dhe dhoma namazi në tërë Zvicrën, shumica e tyre në fabrika dhe depo që janë jashtë funksioni.

اعرب الشيخ "كمال زوراب" مفتي مسجد "باتومي" المركزي أن مساجد "جورجيا" تتعرض للخراب واحدًا تلو الآخر، وهذا بسبب عدم اهتمام الحكومة الجورجية بالمساجد والأئمة، ورفضها لطلبات المساعدة التي يتقدم بها المسلمون.

وأضاف: هذا دفع المسلمين لطلب المساعدات من "تركيا"، إلا أن الدعم الذي نتلقاه من "تركيا" لا يكفي لصيانة المساجد ودفع رواتب الأئمة.

وأشار الشيخ "كمال" إلى أن منطقة "باتومي" تحتوي على مسجد واحد، بالرغم من أن المناطق المجاورة تحتوى على عدد كبير من المساجد.

وأكد أن 23مسجدًا قد تعرضوا للخراب بسبب فقد الدعم والتمويل، وإهمال الحكومة الجورجية للمسلمين ومطالبهم.

Muslims of Ajaria request help from Turkey

Mufti of the central mosque of Batumi, Kemal (Zurab) Teskhaladze says Turkey doesn't render enough support to Muslims in neighbouring Ajaria.

"Georgia doesn't support Muslims and at the same time rejects all their proposals, so they need the support of Turkey", he said in his interview to 08 Haber newspaper, Vesti.Az report citing to IslamNews.

There's only one mosque in Batumi, though in neighbouring villages there are 170 of them.
"Unfortunately, some of our mosques are ruining. There are no imams, because we cannot pay them salary. Our religious figures don't get a coin from anyone, including me", Teskhaladze said.

"But in this aspect Georgia absolutely doesn't interfere with the affairs of the region, - he added. - The Muslim community itself decides who will be the mufti. The state imposes nothing and pays nothing. Now 23 mosques here are ruined".
